Producer of Joylancer breaks silence on games development status on Twitter

For those of you who are unaware of the game Joylancer it is a indie platforming game with some very slick gaming mechanics and was released on the Early Access Steam store in November of 2014.

From then on, the game has gotten some decent reviews all the way up until their last update of September of 2015. From then on, morsels of info on the games development was only posted in the Joylancer Steam forum pages.

Producer Natasha Excelsia breaks her silence on Twitter on the various factors involved that ended the game on a slow development process and some confirmations on the games future.

Joylancer confirmed still being developed. Great news since I've really enjoyed this game.
I'm glad they're aware of their silence because we've been worried for years! Also, Joylancer 2 confirmed.

Straight off the bat, game development pressure is one of the reasons why the game was delayed. Further within the Tweet she goes on more in detail of the stresses of developing games.

During 2014 there was heavy political debate through GamerGate too so there's that. Her coming out as Trans can definitely hinder the development process.
Well, there you have it. A lot can happen during the development of the game and Natasha and her team were aware of it. At least it's great to hear that they're back on-track on developing this game out of EA and hopefully a sequel.

My Top Ten Favorite Games of 2017

10.  Comedy Night (PC) Comedy Night is a game I almost didn't recommend because it felt more like a heavily relied social game experiment. You can sing, debate, and obviously make some jokes to spit on the mic with other users. Game exploded at launch and the developer is highly active on the game. Great to fucking around with people and just socialize in. On top of that it's cheap. 9.  Sky Rogue  (PC) Sky Rogue is your basic flight sim arcade game however has some very attractive low-poly visuals and procedurally generated missions. On top of that, has Steam Workshop to download other peoples aircrafts. I've downloaded Raiden aircrafts to the X-Wing. Great replay value at a decent price. Just got out of Early Access on Steam too. 8.  Iron Crypticle  (PC) A simple arcade game that's reminiscent of Robotron and Smash TV. You're an armored hero going through procedurally generated dungeons destroying an onslaught of baddie. The visuals ...

Orbiz Review

These based Developers located in Indonesia AnomanStudio gave me a free spankin' new Steam copy of Orbiz. Truly a blessing among souls. Thank you cuties. Muah. FUCK NO. Give me all the seizures that I can get, Orbiz. Now anyways, onto the game here. Orbiz is a game with rogue-like elements that has an optional local co-op multiplayer madness while fending off a plethora of really annoying zombies . Each level is a cutely small world filled with these zombies and it's your duty to destroy them all. Kill zombies, destroy the number amount of spawners needed to stop the zombie onslaught and enter the portal to go on to the next level. Simple? No way in fucking hell. Story goes is that 4 high school kids, and one of them named Leo gets a hold of a book called Orbiz. The curious teens check out the book and suddenly they're thrown in an oddly weird Universe filled with a shitton of zombies and planets. Bad kids. First and foremost what I like about the gam...
